Frequency of current in India and Usa

Hii guys,
As we know the frequency of our household current is 50Hz.But have you ever wondered how it is obtained.I will explain to you in this post.The turbines responsible for generating electricity in India are run at 3000 rpm,meaning 50 rotations per second.Hence 50 hz frequency.Similarly in usa turbines rotate at 3600 rpm meaning 60 rotations per second,hence 60hz.I hope now it's clear to you all.
