Can you use vegetable oil to run your car?

He he,
Since the topic can appear to be funny so I welcomed you all this way.Actually the question is not funny because it is obvious for us to think that why can't we use any other fuel than petrol.The answer is yes you can drive your car to a certain distance in emergency by putting vegetable oil in the tanker but it will create noise and improper combustion will occur leading to detonation and knocking.This is because your Car's engine is not designed that way.It will deteriorate your engine's life in the long run.But yes for experiment purpose you can give it a try definitely.
